Long Radius Flow Nozzles are used when low permanent pressure loss is desired and high operating pressure and high operating temperatures are involved. These are precision machines as per various international standards. Long radius flow nozzles are generally butt welded in the pipe and has D and D/2 pressure taps. These nozzles can also be mounted between flanges like an orifice plate.
